Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Hazen Memorial Library was formed in 1996 to promote awareness of the Library's services and programs, raise funds for library programs and passes to area museums and attractions.
When you become a Friend, your annual membership dues make it possible to provide museum passes, and offer performers and programs for all ages.
You can also open and print the membership form: Click here to open member form, print it out and mail to PO Box 653, Shirley, MA 01464, or drop it off at the library.
Friends meetings are usually held once a month at the library from September to June. Check the library's online calendar for dates and times.
Here are just a few of the programs and events sponsored by the Friends of the Library:
- Zumbini Music & Movement
- Strega Mama Storytime
- Art classes for children and teens
- Crafts and STEM programs for children and teens
- Summer Reading Programs and Prizes
